A new literary magazine, WHIM, invites students to submit their creative work to a short story competition for the magazine's first Winter edition: 'Aching in Ankara'
The competition is open to all students at Bilkent University. The deadline for submissions is December 15. The winner's story will be published in the Winter edition of WHIM and the winner will receive a prize of dinner for two at Mezzaluna. Length: 1500-2000 words; theme: any; language: English. The competition will be judged by a panel of selected faculty members.

WHIM aims to attract English language readers both at Bilkent University and in Ankara. It will bring together work by writers and artists from among the Bilkent faculty, student body and beyond. WHIM, founded by Gale Johnson (FYE) and Dr. Sita Schutt (ELIT), hopes to provide a dynamic forum for local and international creative talent. Visit the web site at:
