Prof. Dr. Ali Doğramacı received the "Award for Service to the Turkic World" for the year 2000 by TÜRKSAV, Türk Dünyası Yazarlar ve Sanatçılar Vakfı (Turkic World Writers and Artists Foundation).

For the past five years, TÜRKSAV has given awards to people who significantly contribute to the Turkic world in terms of culture, art, education, publication, economics, management and sports. Prof. Doğramacı was recognized for providing educational services to the executives and students of the Turkic states.
