The family of Sinan Karacadağ has established a scholarship fund in memory of their son. Sinan Karacadağ began his studies at the Faculty of Business Administration of Bilkent University in the fall 1998. He died at the age of nineteen on November 21, 1999 in a tragic traffic accident.

The Sinan Karacadağ Scholarship is intended to support the education of business administration students who demonstrate superior performance in all aspects of their education. The Faculty Executive Board of the Faculty of Business Administration is responsible for determining the recipients of this scholarship. Students who maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 and do not receive other financial aid are eligible and encouraged to apply.

This year two students, Arzu Yalçındağ and Burak Önlem, were each awarded a Sinan Karacadağ Scholarship in a ceremony held on December 15, 2000.
