Radio Bilkent is benefiting from the energy of new volunteers who began working in public relations and as DJs this semester. Each new volunteer is now ready to experience the lively team spirit of Radio Bilkent.
Students who volunteer for Radio Bilkent receive an orientation and job-specific training. Later, they can get involved in as many aspects of Radio Bilkent as they choose. DJs in alternative or classical music, public relations and research, management, or graphics are some of the ways that students can be involved. Opportunities exist for organizing open-air parties, interviewing guests on a talk program, creating or improving the Radio Bilkent webpage, training newcomers, or playing their favorite music for listeners. The spirit of teamwork provides a good working experience.
