Milyonerler Şehri Napoli Opens at FMPA
Don’t miss the graduation performance of fourth-year theater students at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. They will be performing ‘Milyonerler Şehri Napoli’, by Eduardo De Filippo, on March 16, 21, 23, 28, and 30, at the FMPA Theater Hall at 8 p.m.

Eduardo De Filippo’s play takes the audience back to the years during Second World War. It deals with the Italian situation including economic problems, the struggle to live, and the black market, presenting both the legal and illegal ways of life. While dealing with the above issues, he delivers the message that people have to love, help and support each other all the time. This message comes out when Ricardo (a character from the play) says "Now or later, we will have to knock on someone else’s door to ask for help".

Under the general arts direction of Prof. Cüneyt Gökçer, Chair of Performing Arts, and the direction of Tsotne Nakashidze, the students demonstrate a high level of excellence on stage. Plan to be in the audience as the fourth-year students launch their acting careers. For ticket information and reservations call ext. 1775.
