Club Platform Pays Visit to MİT
|

Members of Club Platform, İshak Uysal, Erkan Ertosun, Fatih Ercan recently visited the Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı, MİT, (National Intelligence Organization). İshak Uysal, the head of Club Platform, explained that the reason for their visit was to learn more about this organization which has been unapproachable for many years, and to show Bilkenters another side of the MİT. Uysal indicated that the MİT is not very different from other government organizations in that it has a modern structure and closely follows all technological developments that help the achievement of national objectives.
Club Platform students had the opportunity to meet with Cevat Öneş, the Vice-Undersecretary of the MİT, and received information about how the organization functions as well as useful information regarding employment opportunities. The MİT is looking for students in the fields of law, political science, economics, and management, with knowledge of at least one foreign language. Candidates are required to complete their military service before taking the entrance examination.
