Bilkent ACM SIGART (Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence) presents AI-Storm 2001, a series of classic movies featuring artificial intelligence and science fiction. SIGART invites you to think about "how Hollywood is helping turn science fiction into science fact" while watching these masterpieces of the seventh art.
The first movie is Stanley Kubrick’s "2001: A Space Odyssey", a dazzling, academy award winning visual achievement and compelling drama of people vs. machine. Other films to be shown include Tron, Matrix, and cartoon films of Dilbert; movies that will take you into the world of Artificial Intelligence, raising questions about the mind while stunning your eyes.
