Theater Day Celebrated on Campus
Ninety countries, including Turkey, participated in the celebrations of World Theater Day, which has been held on March 27 since 1962. This year, Bilkent Theater participated in celebrations by performing the play ‘Milyonerler Şehri Napoli’ for students at Keçiören Genç Osman Lisesi in Ankara.

The aim of this special performance was to introduce theater to students who had never seen a play in their lives. The high school students were very excited to be introduced to a theater stage and to be informed about both theater and poetry before the play started.

‘Milyonerler Şehri Napoli’, under the general arts direction of Prof. Cüneyt Gökçer, Chair of Performing Arts, and the direction of Tsotne Nakashidze, will continue to be performed on Wednesday and Friday at 8 p.m. There is still time to see the play at the FMPA Theater Hall. For ticket information and reservations call ext. 1775.
