Children Celebrate Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı
Bilkent University, in cooperation with TEGV (Türkiye Eğitim Gönüllüleri Vakfı), will celebrate Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı or Children’s Holiday by hosting children on campus and providing a weekend of activities for them. Thirty three children from the city of Van, aged 10 to 14 have been chosen to participate in the weekend.

The children will be hosted in the dorms, and volunteer Bilkent students will accompany them during their stay at Bilkent. Their visit will include a tour of Ankara, a movie night organized by the Sinema Kulübü, a special dinner on April 22, and involvement in the activities of Özel Bilkent İlköğretim Okulu on April 23.

In the spirit of the holiday, the children from Van and Bilkent will have the opportunity to get to know each other and make new friends.
