BASSO Performs in Belgium Bilkent Symphony Orchestra was invited to Brussels, Belgium to participate in the International Musici Artis Festival. BASSO had the honor of performing as the Festival Orchestra for four concerts from April 17 to 20. As the Festival Orchestra, BASSO accompanied young soloists and conductors from several countries. The concerts were performed in one of the most famous halls of Europe, the Palais de Beaux Arts, with over 1500 people in attendance. The conductors were Erol Erdinç from Bilkent University, and Robert Janssens from Belgium. As part of their Belgium visit, the Orchestra also gave a concert on April 17 at the Royal Conservatories Hall for Temel İskit, the Turkish Ambassador to Belgium and Herve Hasquin, the leader of the Walloon Government.
