Apply for Summer School Courses
If your summer plans are not set, perhaps you might consider taking a summer course at Bilkent. A variety of courses are being offered in many disciplines enabling students to take regular courses in advance in order to ease future course loads or graduate early. For those who want to venture into new areas, there are special courses being offered in the arts, design, literature and foreign languages designed for non-majors. A highlight of the summer program is the extensive offering of Intensive Language Courses. Two levels of Arabic, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish are being offered through the Foreign Languages Unit. The School of English Language offers an English-Turkish translation course. International Relations courses focusing on the Balkans and the Middle East are also being offered.

Anyone fulfilling the requirements can attend Summer School either as an Official Student or a Special Student. Application of all non-Bilkent students for all courses, and application of Bilkent students for Intensive Language courses is going on now through May 30. Registration runs from May 28 through June 8, and classes run from June 11 through July 27. For more details about the application and registration process, or for a complete listing of the summer school courses and requirements contact the Office of the Dean of Summer School at 266-4240 or 290-2584, or visit sumsch@bilkent.edu.tr.
