The aim of the institute is to foster relationships that bridge the conflicts among the Judaic, Christian and Moslem worlds; discuss economic, political and cultural ideas with young leaders from the Middle East, the Balkans and the United States; and study with faculty under the direction of Georgetown University. Serkan will be one of sixty university students from 20 countries who will participate in the program. This year the institute will be held in Chania, Crete.
Serkan says, “I am very happy to be chosen as a participant for such a valuable program. I will do my best to represent Turkey and Bilkent University.”
