Volunteers Needed for Reading
Would you like to give an hour or two of your time per week to read articles for visually impaired students?

You can volunteer at anytime during the library hours (9 a.m.-11:30 p.m.). One or two hours of your time will make a big difference for someone who cannot read. Your help will be greatly appreciated by the visually impaired students as well as by the library staff.

You might remember that Süleyman Arı (IR/2000), who is visually impaired, benefited from the volunteer program and was accepted at the University of California at Los Angeles for his graduate studies (with a four year fellowship). He is grateful to his friends, instructors and everyone else whose support enabled him to reach this milestone in his life and studies. He is hoping that such support will continue to be offered to other students in need.

If you are willing to volunteer, please contact Evrim Ergin in the library at the reference section (ext. 2686, eergin@bilkent.edu.tr).
