Guidelines Set for Submission to Bilkent News

   If you would like to submit an article, announcement, or a letter to the editor for publication in Bilkent News, please follow the guidelines listed below.
   Articles, announcements and letters to the editor should be in English, no longer than 200 words, and related to academic, social or cultural events at Bilkent or the activities of students, faculty members or administrators. Submissions related to a specific event should include the date, time and location of the event mentioned. It should also include the name, telephone extension and the e-mail address of the person or persons to contact for more information about the event. 
   In order to be considered for inclusion in the following Monday’s issue, submissions must be handed in by 3 p.m. Tuesday. Submissions that are not time sensitive will be published as space permits. 
   Short event announcements and BilAd items may be submitted as late as 5 p.m. Wednesday. Submissions should be e-mailed to bilnews@bilkent.edu.tr or delivered to the Communications Unit, room G-22 in the Engineering Building.
   Once an article or announcement has been submitted, an editor will review it for content and grammar and present it to the editorial board for review. The editorial board reserves the right to make changes or reject any submissions. If the article is accepted, it will be published.
