Bilkent Faculty Receives Writer’s Award Fellowships are awarded annually for the encouragement of published poets, playwrights and novelists. Previous recipients of the award have included Anthony Thwaite, Tom Paulin, and poet Laureate Andrew Motion. Leech was selected by a distinguished admissions committee, including the Earl of Gowrie and Lord Quinton, in recognition of his outstanding promise as a young poet. He will spend his time at the Castle preparing work for his second book of poems.
