Dear Bilkent News,
Why is it that the new signs on the service busses say “Leave bus from the back door for your safety” when what they are really trying to prevent is the dangerous situation of people crossing in front of the bus?

That is, the bigger question is, why is the university opting to dictate people’s behavior rather than fulfilling its mission: to teach. Perhaps, instead, the signs should read “For your safety, do not cross in front of the bus.”
