A Poetic Valentine Presentation
Prof. Talat Halman, Chairman of Bilkent’s Department of Turkish Literature, will present a “Love Poetry Program” at Ankara University’s Culture and Arts Center on Valentine’s Day, February 14. The program will be in Turkish and will feature love poems from ancient civilizations - - along with Mevlana, Yunus, Fuzuli, Shakespeare, Nazým, Daðlarca and many others. The “World Love Poetry Program” will start at 7 p.m. and everybody is welcome to attend.
