The Music Club has been organizing Friday concerts at the Ege restaurant on Friday afternoons between 5-7 p.m. The concerts have included Turkish Rock, Pop, Rock'n Roll, Soul, Blues and Alternative Rock, all performed by Bilkent groups. This Friday, on April 26, the group Kapris will perform Turkish Rock. Ege restaurant provides a comfortable ambiance where you can have a few of drinks or enjoy food with friends. The Music Club has 500 registered members, organizes video shows and concerts for May Fest, and provides classic, electro, bass, rhythm guitar, drum and piano lessons; all fees go towards the club’s general fund used to provide equipment. Alp Uyanık (CTP/II) the president of the club told us the club’s sound system was bought by the Student Union at the beginning of the year. Alp would also like to invite students to help out at the club during Mayfest.
