The first Squash Festival, which was scheduled to be held between 19-21 April 2002, will now be held on 27-28 April due to the Bayram holiday. Registration ends on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m.

The Rector’s Cup Badminton Festival was held on 13-14 April 2002. The tournament was very entertaining and competitive. The winners of the tournament are as follows:
Women’s Singles: Oya Cingöz (1st place), Tuğba Haykır (2nd place);
Men’s Singles: Mehmet Altun (1st place), Can Yurtsever (2nd place);
Women’s Doubles: Oya Cingöz-Tuğba Haykır (1st place), Gizem Coşkun-Gökçe Marangoz (2nd place);
Men’s Doubles: Demirhan Kobat-Mehmet Uğur Ekinci (1st place), Mehmet Atun-Fatih Güral ( 2nd place);
Mixed Doubles: Oya Cingöz-Mehmet Uğur Ekinci (1st place), Gizem Coşkun-Can Yurtsever (2nd place).
