On Sunday October 22, a group of Bilkent students and academic staff enjoyed a beautiful day of hiking at Işık Mountain in Kızılcahamam. Under the guidance of Tunç Fındık, Ankara operations leader of the Search and Rescue Society (AKUT), part-time instructor at Bilkent Physical Education and Sports Center and experienced mountaineer, trekkers walked 15 km. through beautiful, rolling hills.
   Trekking tours will continue for members of the Bilkent community. Everyone is welcome to attend these treks; not only for fun but for learning about the challenges of hiking on the mountains.
