Last week, Aydın Örs, Turkish National Basketball Team’s Coach, and Doğan Hakyemez, Turkish National Basketball Team Manager, were invited to the university by Radio Bilkent. They offered students many insights into the Turkish Basketball team and talked about future plans.   

    Concerning those plans, Doğan Hakyemez spoke about their intention to open Basketball Schools (12 Dev Adam Basketbol Okulu) in twelve cities: “Our mission is to spread basketball all over Turkey”.
   Aydın Örs mentioned that “There were three factors that played a major role in the team’s success in the European Championship. They are: having good teamwork; staying focused on the goal (winning) and being a well-rounded team.”
