Letters to the Editor |
Dear Editor,
Lately, whenever I go to the PC labs, I can never find an available
computer. There is usually a class in progress, there are few free
labs, and those that are free already have several students waiting
for their turn. Is Bilkent University aware of this situation?
Bilkent is proud of the wide range of opportunities it provides for
its students and puts its computer labs on top of that list of
opportunities. We would appreciate the University's help in finding
a solution for this problem as soon as possible.
Pınar Ozorhan (ECON/IV)
Response to Letter to the Editor
Including the Linux/UNIX lab there are 9 labs available for students at
BCC. Lab schedules are clearly posted on all lab doors. Reservations
are not required. But it is requested that students use the
computers for school work only. This will increase computer
availability. Check the schedules on the doors of the regular labs -
not only the free labs - for available times.
