“POP-EYED”

What does the future hold in store? Has anyone noticed how nearly every single newspaper is giving away “fortune telling” books? And now nearly every commercial is the same; “Are you sad and depressed about your life, your love life not going the way you want? Well from now on read your own fortune and be prepared for what may come in the future”.
I don’t know if it’s the upcoming war that has everyone going crazy about the future (as if such methods could prepare us for everything in life), or whether a new trend is kicking off. However funny the situation may look, we all at least have one of these fortune telling books lying at home, or at least know one type of fortune-telling method like reading cards or coffee or tea leaves. But how many of us believe these things? None of us, right? We all answer “I don't believe in fortune telling, I just do it for fun”.
So if we all get it done for fun, why do we all take it seriously when something comes true? Because we like it and want to believe in it, especially if its good! But here is a question for you; guys in particular like to take their girlfriends to good fortune tellers…now do they bring them there just for fun or do they want a peak into their girlfriends’ futures so they can act accordingly? ...haha, bet you never thought of that huh?
