The Bilkent Symphony Orchestra was invited to perform at the 1st International Music Festival in Mersin on October 7. The concert was held at the University of Mersin Amphi Theatre, conducted by Emil Tabakov, with Gülsin Onay as soloist. The orchestra played three compositions by composer George Gershwin: “An American in Paris”, Rhapsody in Blue”, and “Porgy and Bess”
The Bilkent Symphony Orchestra gives concerts throughout the year every Tuesday evening at the Bilkent Concert Hall on Middle Campus.
