The Korean Cultural Center of Ankara will present a chamber music concert by Bilkent University student musicians on Saturday, March 10, at 4 p.m.
This is the second concert to celebrate the continuous collaboration of the Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and the Korean Cultural Center. At the first, sold-out concert in May 2017 (which celebrated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Turkey), the Center, together with Dr. Yoonie Han, assistant professor of piano at Bilkent, organized a performance by 20 students from the faculty, who collaborated with a Korean artist to premier a theater program.
The March 10 concert will present a variety of chamber music ensembles, from a piano trio to a brass quintet, playing music by composers from Bach to Fauré. Admission is free, but seating is limited; it is suggested that those who wish to attend the concert RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Transportation to the Korean Cultural Center will be provided from the Music Faculty building at 2 p.m., with the return trip to the university scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
