The results are in for two activities held recently by the Physical Education and Sports Center. The four-week Step Challenge, which asked participants to walk or run at least 12,500 steps three to five days per week, concluded on November 8. And on November 10, an orienteering event was held in memory of Atatürk, divided into separate sessions for experienced and beginning orienteers to navigate a course from checkpoint to checkpoint.
Open to both students and employees, the two activities attracted 45 participants in total. The names of those who took part appear below. Participants in the step challenge are listed in order of the number of steps they took, with top finisher Nafisa Agha logging an awesome 299,157 and Berrin Keyik Çelik a close second with 297,068.
