UNAM (the National Nanotechnology Research Center) will be holding NanoDay, the Center’s annual Symposium on Materials Science and Nanotechnology, on Thursday, May 25. NanoDay 2017 will mark the fourth time the event has taken place.
This year’s symposium will feature a variety of activities, including keynote talks by eminent scientists, poster presentations by UNAM graduate students and the fourth annual NanoPicture Contest.
The keynote speakers are Prof. Andrey Rogach (City University of Hong Kong), Prof. Ernst Meyer (University of Basel) and Prof. Hendrik Heinz (University of Colorado). NanoDay holds special meaning this year, as UNAM’s 10th anniversary will be celebrated throughout the day.
During NanoDay ’17, UNAM’s doors will be open to visitors all day long. Interested students can get more information about UNAM and the Materials Science and Nanotechnology (MSN) graduate program. All who might wish to attend the event are invited to visit the UNAM website for registration and more details: http://unam.bilkent.edu.tr/nanoday.
