The National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) will hold its fifth NanoDay Annual Symposium on Materials Science and Nanotechnology on Tuesday, May 15.Events on this year’s NanoDay program include keynote talks from internationally known scientists and poster presentations by UNAM graduate students, as well as the fifth annual NanoArt Contest. The keynote speakers are Prof. Efrat Lifshitz (Technion – Israel Institute of Technology), Prof. Banu Onaral (Drexel University), Prof. Joel P. Schneider (US National Cancer Institute) and Prof. Reshef Tenne (Weizmann Institute of Science).
During NanoDay ’18, UNAM’s doors will be open to visitors throughout the day. Students will also be able to obtain information about UNAM and the Materials Science and Nanotechnology graduate program.

Due to the limited availability of seating for the formal sessions, Bilkent-based researchers and students are urged to register for the event by May 11 to ensure that they are able to attend.
