Bilkent Debate Team Moves On to The Quarter Finals
The Bilkent University Debate Team members, Onur Gökalp (MAN/II), Çağlar Kurç (IR/II) and Gamze Ovacık(LAW/II) participated on the TV show Ai Kırca, “Kim Haklı?” on December 18. The Cyprus issue was discussed in the debate program and the teams that Bilkent was up against were from Koç University, Akdeniz University and Fatih University.
The Bilkent team was on the opposing side of the debate argument and was the champion of the night. Koç University came in second. Bilkent has now qualified to participate in the quarter finals in February on ATV. Akdeniz University came in third, while Fatih University took fourth place in the debate match.
