In the world we live in today, there are hundreds of languages spoken and just as many cultures to go with that, and that somehow seperates us from one another- right? Wrong! There is something called "silent body language". I don't know how many of you have heard of it but when I first did I didn't really believe it. I thought to myself how could it be and why hadn't I realised that such a thing was going on- Oh my God!
It is the simpliest body language given out instinctively, and you know the suprising part, we do it constantly! You're curious aren't you? Okay let me make this more fun, we usually do it when we don't want to be disturbed, annoyed, are concentrating and just just don't want anybody to come near us. Yes, it can be used in all these circumstances with one single movement, it's done by showing the tip of your tongue. Weird huh? Haven't you ever noticed and wondered why when people are concentrating their tongue is usually showing from their mouths. It's been proven that its a silent signal indicating that you are concentrating and don't want to be disturbed. Okay this is normal, compared to what I'm gonna tell you now..
When we are walking, sitting and don't like the looks given to us by others, we show the tip of our tongues and this movement can also be done by licking your lips. I know it sounds weird and you're all trying to think if you do it but you do. I tried it several times, like for once, I sat somewhere and just stared at people for no reason, the ones I stared at and noticed that I was staring, really did show the tip of their tongue in one way or another! Then, another time I did the exact oppisite and wondered if others would get my signal, I would be walking down a busy street, and you know how somebody else would be coming straight at you form the oppisite direction, and one of you has to move? Well, each time people came towards me all i did was show the tip of my tongue-usually by licking my lips and fasinating enough those towards me, they would make way for me to pass!
Funny isn't it how we actually communicate silently with the slightest signals..maybe you can't see this right now, but I'm showing the tip of my tongue right now :P stay out of my way :-)
