Flu shots to reduce the risk of getting influenza are now being offered at the Main Campus and East Campus Health Centers (call ext. 1666) for 13.700.000 TL. These are recommended for the following people:
- Those age 65 or above
- Residents of nursing homes and other chronic-care facilities that house people of any age who have chronic medical conditions
- Adults and children who have chronic disorders of the pulmonary or cardiovascular systems, including children with asthma
- Adults and children who require regular medical follow ups or hospitalization because of chronic metabolic diseases (including diabetes and mellitus)
- Children and teenagers (ages 6 months to 18 years) who are receiving long-term aspirin therapy
(Note: Bayındır Health Insurance does not cover the cost of this vaccination.)
