The Fifth game of the season in the American Football league, was held on Saturday, April 10 between the Bilkent Judges and the Anadolu Rangers. Before the match, the Judges had 2 wins and 2 loses so it was a very important game for the future standings in the league for the Judges. In the first quarter, the Judges scored 14 points and their defense made no mistakes (14-0). Before half time, in the second quarter, the Judges' offense created 2 more touchdowns with successful conversions and opened the score difference (30-0). Through the second half, the Judges had to score more touchdowns in order to run up the score higher and in the 3rd quarter, the Judges offense scored 2 more touchdowns, increasing their lead to 44-0. The offensive creativity brought the Judges easy first downs and caused the Rangers to show their defensive mistakes. The last quarter was an ariel show for the audience because of the extremely high number of pass plays and the talented receivers succeeded in launching the score to 76-0.
The defense and offense of the JUDGES finished the game with no mistakes and Head Coach Alper Angın commented that the performance of the team improves each day. He also said that after the injured players' recoveries, and rejoining the team, the Bilkent Judges will show their best performances in the final-four this season.
The Bilkent Judges succeeded in making it to the final four in the American Football league this Saturday by winning the game against the Başkent Knights (46-6). This win is the Judges 4th win in 6 games and the Judges finished the season in 3rd place and in the final four, the Judges will face the Hacettepe Reddeers for the final game of the season.
