Last year, the 1st Angora Cup Tournament was organized in Basketball and the participants and the spectators enjoyed it greatly. This year the 2nd Angora Cup Tournament will be organized in Football, between April 29- May 2, 2004 here at Bilkent’s Main Campus Grass Field.
The following University teams have been invited to participate in this special event; Başkent University, Bilkent University, Boğaziçi University, Hacettepe University, Koç University, METU, Sabancı University.
The tournament opens on Thursday April 29 at 2:30 p.m. at the Main Campus grassfield. The first Match will start right after the opening ceremony around 3 p.m.
“We invite all students and staff to be a part of this special event and support the Bilkent Football Team", says Dr. Hayri Özkan, Director of Physical Education and Sports Center.
