The Edible Book Festival is an international celebration of the printed world, which began in 1999. It was conceived by Judith A. Hoffberg over a Thanksgiving turkey with book artists and became an international event through the website of artist Beatrice Caron.
And now, the International Edible Book Festival has come to Bilkent University. You may bake, boil, stir-fry, saute or marinate an edible book and become a part of the exhibit at Spring Festival 2004 or you may taste the delicious books made by the talented students of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management. Show your creativity or feed yourself, the choice is yours. Everyone is invited. This activity is sponsored by the Bilkent University Library and the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management.
