The “44th Celebration of the 727th year of Turkish becoming the State Language and a remembrance of Yunus Emre“ will be held between May 7- 13, 2004, by the Turkish Republic Governorship of Karaman. During the celebrations, Prof. Cüneyt Gökçer, Chairman of the Department of Performing Arts, was awarded during a ceremony which took place Friday, May 7, at the DSİ Conference Hall, in Ankara for his work as a “theater artist, speaking Turkish language correctly as a model to the Turkish society“
