Berrak Alkan, a 2003 graduate from the Translation and Interpretation Department of the School of Applied Languages, was a recipient of the Jean Monnet Scholarship for the 2003-2004 academic year.The full scholarship is sponsored by the Representation of the European Commission to Turkey.
Berrak will study for one year in Belgium, at the University of Paris Sud-Faculté Jean Monnet, Brussels Branch, beginning in October 2003. She will be working towards a Master's Degree in International Politics.
The program is organized by the European Center of International and Strategic Studies.
