Football fans know how hard and dangerous it is to make slides on artificial turf fields. The case is even worse for goalkeepers; they’ve got to think twice before attempting to save a shot with big jumps.
Thanks to The Physical Education and Sports Center’s new policy, the Main Campus grass football field is available for use by football fans who are trying to find a real field to play on. Starting from October 18, Sunday, Bilkent Sport Center Football Specialists are organizing 7x7 football tournaments every Saturday and Sunday. Interested students may join with their own teams or come alone and join a team already on the field. Beginner and Intermediate groups will be available, and quotas are limited. Registrations are free and take place at the Student Dormitories Sport Hall.
