“Islam and Modernity” Seminar Planned

Bilkent University’s, Seminars on Literature, Culture and Society Unit, launched in April 2003, is organizing this Fall a bilingual interdisciplinary series of seminars on the theme of “Islam and Modernity.” The series will be inaugurated by Professor Halil Inalcýk of the Department of History who will speak in Turkish on “Islam and Modernization” on Wednesday, October 22, at 5:30 p.m. at FEASS, A-130.
