The Physical Education and Sports Center is interested in fulfilling the needs of the students and is trying to do this by renovating their present facilities or by constructing new ones.
One of the most recent projects has been to increase the number of football fields on Main Campus due to an ever increasing demand. The new artificial turf field, which is right next to the old one, was constructed in order to provide football fans with a variety of venues.
As you may have noticed, Bilkenters are very interested in soccer, in that every semester, approximately 1000 student attend the programs organized by the Physical Education and Sports Center. The Center looks forward to seeing an increase in this amount as the new facilities start to become available.
Indeed, the upcoming tournaments and various activities relating to football may take place at this location. The Sport Center encourages all students to take advantage of these facilities as often as they can.
