The Friends of the UNICEF Central Committee will be holding a
"Flea Market" (Bit Pazarý), with all proceeds going to UNICEF, on Tuesday
and Wednesday, December 14 and 15. You
will be able to find inexpensive, good-quality secondhand items, including ornamental and
decorative items, kitchen and household utensils, and books. The flea market will take
place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days at the Student
Council Building.
The Friends of the UNICEF Central Committee is one of the constituent organizations of the
Turkish National Committee for UNICEF.
A volunteer group, it has several members from the Bilkent community. Its activities
include collecting donations from organizations and individuals, and organizing various
fundraising activities.
