Does the idea of building an intelligent machine fascinate you?
Are you curious about how the human mind functions? SIGART (Special interest Group on
Artificial Intelligence) is an informal group of students and faculty interested in just
such questions. The group organizes various seminars and discussion meetings each
semester.
They invite beginners and experts alike to join them in learning about and discovering the
inner workings of the mind. As a local chapter of the ACM (an international body for
computer professionals), they also try to promote awareness of general computer-related
issues and are co-organizers of the annual SoftwareQuest contest. Their first meeting this
semester is on Wednesday, February 23 at 5:40 p.m. in Room EA502.
Details of this and future SIGART events can be found at http://goto.bilkent.edu.tr/sigart
