A tourism
panel, which brought hotel industry professionals together with Bilkent students and
alumni, was organized by the Tourism and Hotel Management Department (THM) and the Career
Development and Placement Center (CDPC) on Wednesday, March 2. In conjunction with his THM
420 seminar, Tekin Ertan invited Bilkent University graduates Neşe Arı '92, Ayşe
Yaramanoğlu '94 and Erhan Inanılır '97 to serve as panelists.
The three panelists gave presentations on topics related to the hotels where they now work
as top executives: the İzmir Hilton, Ankara Sheraton Hotel and Towers and Dedeman Hotels,
respectively. The day's program also included a concert by students of the Music
Preparatory School and a luncheon, cooked and served by THM/THS students at their practice
restaurant, Le Piment Rouge.
