Murathan Mungan to Speak at Bilkent

The noted author Murathan Mungan will be at Bilkent for an evening program on Tuesday, March 29.
Mungan has published more than forty volumes of literary works, including novels, plays, short stories and poems.  His fame has grown steadily since his first volumes of poetry and short stories appeared in the 1980s, and today he has a wide following.
The program, organized by the Center for Turkish Literature, will also feature the well-known novelist Erendiz Atasü, who will give an introduction assessing Mungan's work and its place in Turkish literature.  The event will begin at 6 p.m., in C-Block Auditorium in the FEASS building.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
