Prefer Organic Food? You Can Grow Your Own at Bilkent!

Name: Organic Paradise Project
Place: Middle Campus
The Gardener: You

We can do research on the internet, chat over cyberspace or use a cell phone to talk to someone across the country or even the world. When we do need to go out, cars or buses take us anywhere we like. Everything that we have seems perfectly organized to make our lives easier.
But is it all really so perfect? To begin with, many of us live in tall apartment buildings in polluted cities. We're addicted to frozen, canned and fast food, and find ourselves breathing dirty air while we watch the ozone layer shrink. Is this the existence that human beings have dreamed of?
Maybe in all the complexity of modern life, we've lost something. Well, members of the Bilkent community are lucky. They have the chance to get back to nature and enjoy eating healthy food that they've grown themselves, through the Organic Paradise Project organized by the Environmental Planning Management Unit.
