The Yeni Ufuklar Kulübü is celebrating its 10th anniversary
this year. İnci Alaoğlu (LAW/II), the club's president for 2004-2005, says that club
members hope this milestone is only a precursor of future success. They point with pride
to the famous and successful people who have come to meet with Bilkent students at the
invitation of Yeni Ufuklar during the organization's 10-year history.
Members of Yeni Ufuklar's executive board also stress that this club is different from
many others because of the variety of personal perceptions among its members. The
organization aims to attract students who come from different departments and have
different ideas.
The Yeni Ufuklar Kulübü welcomes everyone who wants to have an active role in Bilkent's
social life. Weekly meetings of the club are held at the Student Council Building, Zeynep
Köksal Room, every Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
