 The
campaign organized by the Bilkent Search and Rescue First Aid
Association (BILAID) to donate blankets to the victims of the earthquake
in Pakistan has succeeded in collecting 1,395 blankets, which were
delivered to the Pakistani Embassy on November 21.
Officials at the embassy
expressed gratitude to all Bilkent staff and students for their help and
generosity. They noted that the campaign was the only one set up by a
university in Turkey, and that the blankets will help quake victims who
must sleep outside.
