THE VOICE

TAKING STEPS BACKWARD!

The world, our country, our tolerances, our minds, our lives are taking steps backward and nobody is attempting to do a thing about it. The only thing that's continuing to develop is technology. Other than that, everything has started to decline. I think this is a shame for us, and we will regret this misguided behavior in the future.

I usually try to avoid the lies in the newspapers, but today I tried to understand what the truth behind them might be. The only answer that I could come up with was: this is an attempt to take a step backwards.
The kind of news I'm talking about is usually about the life of a famous person, about a "political person's" personal behavior or just a not-very-important political act. Then I realized that when a truly big event happens, everybody learns about it, but this occurs only rarely.

Does this mean that our lives, our country have been stabilized? Maybe this is just a conspiracy theory, but I'm sure that, on the contrary, we're being lulled to sleep by some "higher powers" and are just trying to survive amid the chaos of our lives. We don't even try to understand.

So, we're starting to take backward steps in the development of our minds. We just obey the rules and don't make any effort to understand them or fight against them. All our moral values are beginning to be lost in this chaotic environment. We just accept reality and don't try to modify or change it. The result is that development stops.

I know that to most of you this might seem like senseless panic, but I think that we're in a period when those who wake up and try to develop their consciousness will survive, while the others will be lost in time.

If you're one of those who are trying to wake up, grab a book and start to read. Don't run away from technological advances; instead, try to adapt them in a positive way to fit into your life. Don't believe everything you read or hear; share your opinions with others and always try to verify them by using the internet, libraries and wiser people's points of view. Find different cultural events to develop your personality and feed your soul. Try not to turn on your TV for a day. Maybe then you'll also feel that you've become different and conscious of what's going on in the world around you.

And for those who aren't interested in what's going on, have a nice sleep.
