Ahmet, known throughout the world as a master percussionist and
developer of innovative percussion techniques, was at Bilkent last week
as part of the "Career Days" program organized by the CDPC (Career
Development and Placement Center). His presentation, in which he shared
his success story with the audience, attracted nearly 300 Bilkenters.
In discussing the ways
to reach success, the musician said that you should never give up on
reaching your goals--even when you think there's nothing you can do, you
should follow your goal with passion, and then you'll see that there's
in fact much more you can do.
Mısırlı Ahmet ended his
talk with a short performance and then went to
the Radio Bilkent studios to give a live interview.
