BILKENT-HACETTEPE

 Both
the men's and women's Bilkent basketball teams played against Hacettepe
at the Main Campus Sports Hall last Tuesday.
The Bilkent women unfortunately went down to defeat by a score of 88 -
42. However, throughout the entire game, they never gave up their
struggle against the very strong and experienced Hacettepe women's team.
 Following
the women's game, basketball action continued with a very close men's
game. At the end of the first half, the Bilkent men were behind, 35-31.
They drew even with their opponents during the third period, which ended
at 46-45. The game remained close for most of the final period as well,
but Bilkent was able to widen the gap and won the game by a score of
67-62. This
Thursday, March 2, the Bilkent men will play Baskent at the Ayse Abla
College Sports Hall. This weekend, the Bilkent teams will play in
Istanbul against Koç and Sabanci. We wish them success! Many thanks to
