Human Rights & EU Club Ranked Third Among Turkey’s Student Organizations

For the competition, every club registered with the uniaktivite.net website (http://www.uniaktivite.net) was awarded points on the basis of the number of members the club has, the number of activities that it has organized/sponsored, its goals and achievements and the quality of the activities it has been involved in during the academic year.

The Bilkent Human Rights & EU Club, with an emblem of twelve stars surrounding a pair of scales, was established on December 10, 2003, to increase Bilkenters' awareness of human rights issues, increase student-NGO relations and help establish dialogue between students and scholars regarding human rights issues and the European Union.
